SUMMARY:Resilience Awards presented by Loudoun County TICN and SCAN of NOVA
DESCRIPTION:Helping helpers help.\nThe Loudoun County Trauma-Informed Community Network ( https://scanva.org/approach/institutional-abuse-prevention/trauma-informed-care-networks/ ) is proud to present the first Resilience Awards to outstanding individuals supporting mental health who are making Loudoun a better place. Nominees are community members that put others and their wellbeing first. As a part of Virginia’s state-wide observance of Resilience Week, eight recipients will be recognized with a unique equine-assisted education session in partnership with Project Horse of the Arc of Loudoun. Partnering with horses is a unique and powerful restorative mindfulness and wellness journey that will allow those who help others to focus intentionally on themselves.\nThis event is made possible by SCAN of Northern Virginia and Greater Richmond SCAN.\n
