August 7, 2018 — Former State Senator and Mayor of Alexandria, Hon. Patsy Ticer was an ardent supporter of SCAN and a vocal advocate for children and families in Northern Virginia. We re grateful for her lifetime of service to the community as well as her belief in SCAN’s child abuse prevention programs. A wonderful profile of Patsy appeared in the Alexandria Times this week, and her obituary appeared in the Washington Post on August 7.
